An effort to recall Donnie Dufour and Tommy Craig from their positions on the DeSoto School Board in Louisiana was launched in June 2011.[1] The recall effort did not go to a vote due to insufficient signatures by the submission deadline.

Recall supporter arguments

Ronnie Morris and Betty Carter served as co-chairs of the recall campaign targeting Craig. Ernest Andrew Drain and Gary Belton were co-chairs of the recall campaign targeting Dufour. Recall organizers sought the removal of Dufour and Craig over votes to reassign the principal of Mansfield Elementary School.[1]
