Dorian Coston was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 40 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Coston has run twice for State Representative and held Precinct Delegate office. He has a Masters in Human Resource Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management, BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona, and his Paralegal Certification from Oakland Community College.[1]


Campaign themes

Coston highlights protection of K-12 education funding as a priority, in addition to expanded access to healthcare and close protections of personal reproductive rights.[1]

Coston ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 40. Coston ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and was defeated by Michael D. McCready (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [2]


Coston and his wife Melinda have three children.
