Dorothy Wilcox was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 122 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. Wilcox worked as a small business owner for 20 years and in the healthcare industry for 10 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in medical technology from the University of Southern Mississippi.[1]

Wilcox ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 122. She ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was defeated by David Baria (D) in the November 8 general election.[2]

Wilcox said that, if elected, she would work to eliminate the inventory tax, vote for a Republican Speaker of the House and push to reduce the state's debt.[3]
