Aagard has served as a Delegate for the Utah Republican Party and the County Republican Party. He appointed to the Utah State House of Representatives in 2001. He has served in that position since, representing the 15th District.
Aagard works in Mortgage Banking as a Secondary Marketing Manager.
Aagard earned his AAS from Snow College. He went on to receive his BS from Brigham Young University. He later received his MBA from Westminster College.
