Doug Aagard was a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 15.

Aagard has served as a Delegate for the Utah Republican Party and the County Republican Party. He was appointed to the Utah State House of Representatives in 2001. He served in that position until 2011, including a stint as Majority Leader.

Aagard works in Mortgage Banking as a Secondary Marketing Manager.

Aagard earned his AAS from Snow College. He went on to receive his BS from Brigham Young University. He later received his MBA from Westminster College.

Aagard did not run for re-election to the 15th District Seat in 2010. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.


On November 4, 2008, Aagard won re-election to the Utah House of Representatives, District 15, defeating opponent Ryan Mellor (D).[1]
