Douglas Damon is a former Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 16 from 2010-2012. Damon ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 16.

Damon is currently a real estate agent. He is also a 35 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In the Air Force, he served as a Weapons Systems Officer and Navigator, achieving the rank of Colonel.

Damon graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Elementary Education, and from Auburn University where he received his Master's degree in Political Science.

Damon ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 16. Damon ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and was defeated by John Schneck (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
