Douglas Thomas is a Republican member of the Maine State Senate. Thomas was elected to represent District 27 on November 2, 2010. He served in the Maine House of Representatives from 2004 to 2010.

Thomas is the owner of his own trucking company. He previously served on the S.A.D. #46 School Board, and as a Selectman for the Town of Ripley.
