Douglas Thomas is a Republican member of the Maine State Senate. Thomas was elected to represent District 27 on November 2, 2010.

Thomas is the owner of his own trucking company. He previously served on the S.A.D. #46 School Board, and as a Selectman for the Town of Ripley.

Thomas is a member of the Regional Transportation Advisory Committee Region 4, and the Somerset County Budget Committee.[1]
