Dov Hikind (b. June 30, 1950) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 48 since 1983. Hikind serves as the Majority Whip.

Hikind graduated from the City University of New York; earned a BA from Queens College; and a Master's in Urban Studies from Brooklyn College. He and his wife, Shoshana, have three children; Deena, Yoni, and Shmuel.[1]
