Dov Hikind (b. June 30, 1950) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 48 since 1982. Hikind is the deputy majority whip for New York State Assembly.

Hikind graduated from the City University of New York; earned a BA from Queens College; and a Master's in Urban Studies from Brooklyn College. He and his wife, Shoshana, have three children; Deena, Yoni, and Shmuel.[1]
