Bennett is running for re-election to the 32nd District Seat in 2010. He has no primary opposition. Beth Buzzell Miller is running for the seat on the Republican ticket, and William McVay is running as a Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian. The primary election occurs on September 14, and the general election takes place on November 2, 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Bennett won election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 32nd District, defeating Donna Stone (R). Bennett received 3,742 votes in the election while Stone received 2,820 votes.[3] Bennett raised $65,924 for his campaign; Stone raised $75,130.[4]
