Edward "Ed" Brooks (b. July 1, 1942) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 50th District since 2009.

Brooks served in the United States Army Reserve from 1965-1971, and has worked as a dairy producer, loan officer with the Production Credit Association, and county supervisor for the United States Department of Agriculture.

He is a member of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau and former member of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Board of Visitors, and former chair of the Wisconsin Federation of Coops.[1]

Brooks won re-election in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 50. Brooks ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and defeated Sarah Shanahan (D) and Ben Olson (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]

Brooks was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 50. Brooks defeated Democrat Sarah Shanahan in the general election on November 2, 2010. Also defeated was Libertarian Ben Olson, III. Brooks was unopposed in the September 14, 2010 primary election.[3]
