Cannady ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 15. Cannady ran unopposed in the June 26 Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Cannaday won re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He defeated Annie J. Goolsby in the Democratic primary by a margin of 4,111-826. Cannaday defeated Paul C. Parrott (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
