Ed Gruchalla (b. October 2, 1947) is a Democratic-NPL member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 45. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006. In the 2013 session, Gruchalla serves as Minority Caucus Leader.

Biography

Gruchalla earned a B.S. in Education from Valley City State University. He also graduated from the Northwest School of Police Staff and Command. Gruchalla has worked as an investigator and Sergeant with the North Dakota Highway Patrol. He served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1973.[1]

Gruchalla won re-election to one of two seats in District 45 of the North Dakota House of Representatives. Gruchalla and Joe Heilman (R) defeated Prairie Rose Seminole (D) and Andrew Marschall (R) in the November 2 general election.[2][3]
