Ed Roy was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 2 of the Louisiana Public Service Commission. He withdrew from the race on September 7, 2012.[1]

Roy was running for District 2 of the Louisiana Public Service Commission in 2012, but he withdrew his candidacy on September 7th. After Roy's withdrawal, five remain in the race: Scott Angelle (R), Erich Ponti (R), Sarah Holliday (R), Greg Gaubert (no party affiliation), and Forest Wright (D) in the blanket primary.[2] The blanket primary race took place on November 6, 2012.
