Ed Scharf was a 2012 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 23rd Congressional District of Texas.

Scharf was defeated by Democratic candidate Pete Gallego on November 6, 2012.[1]

Scharf ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Texas' 23rd District. He ran as a Green Party candidate. He ran against Pete Gallego (D), Jeffrey Blunt (L), and incumbent Francisco Canseco (R) in the November 6, 2012, general election.[2]
