Ed Sullivan, Jr. is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 51st district since 2003. Prior to his election to the House, Sullivan was Assessor of Fremont Township from 1993-2002.[1]

Sullivan won re-election to the 51st District seat against Democrat Steve Riess.[2] He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on February 2nd. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Republican Ed Sullivan Jr. won re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives District 51 receiving 31,261 votes, ahead of Democrat Amanda D. Howland who received 21,873 votes.[3]
