Edward Buttrey (b. December 14, 1965) is a Republican member of the Montana State Senate. He has represented District 13 since 2011.

Buttrey received his BS in electrical engineering from Montana State University in 1989.

Buttrey has worked in the following positions; emergency medical technician at Bigfork Ambulance from 2002-2005, rescue diver at Lake/Flathead County Sheriff's Department from 2002-2005, captain at Bigfork Fire Department from 1990-2005, western manager at Connector Technology from 1997-1999, weapons system IPT PMPT engineer at The Boeing Company from 1989-1997, operator at Buttrey Realty, president at Cable Technology, and operator at JoBEL Inc.
