Eliana Pintor-Marin is a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 29. She was first appointed to the chamber on September 11, 2013, to replace Alberto Coutinho, who resigned because of an investigation into a charity that his father started.[1]

Pintor-Marin won re-election in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 29. She was added to the general election ballot after Alberto Coutinho (D) resigned from office. She and incumbent L. Grace Spencer (D) defeated Aracelis Sanabria Tejada (R) and Elaine L. Guarino (R) in the general election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[2][3][4][5]
