Elise Stefanik is a 2014 Republican, Conservative, and Independence Party candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 21st Congressional District of New York.[1]

In the past, Stefanik was an aide to former Pres. George Bush and was in charge of debate prep for Paul Ryan.[2] She currently manages sales and marketing for her family’s business, Premium Plywood Products.[3]

Stefanik is running in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 21st District. Stefanik is seeking the Republican, Conservative, and Independence Party nominations in the primary on June 24, 2014. The general election takes place November 4, 2014.[4]

Democratic incumbent Bill Owens announced in January 2014 that he would not seek re-election.[5]
