Elizabeth Hernandez (b. July 14, 1961) is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 24th district. She has also served on the Cicero Board of Education since 1985.

Hernandez served on the Pilsen/Little Village Mental Health Board from 2001-2002, Latinos of Berwyn/Cicero Organization Board from 1990-2002, and was Secretary of the Cicero/Berwyn Children's Center from 1985-2002.[1]

Hernandez is running for re-election to the 24th District seat in the Illinois House of Representatives in 2012. She defeated Neftalie Gonzalez and Robert Reyes in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, and is unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
