, representing the 14th District since 2012. She was appointed to the seat in December of 2011 after Suzanne Bonamici
(D) resigned to seek election to the US House of Representatives
. Steiner Hayward was appointed by a vote of the local county commissioners, narrowly edging out Rep. Chris Harker
for the seat.
