Elizabeth Steiner Hayward (b. December 10, 1956) is a Democratic member of the Oregon State Senate, representing the 14th District since 2012. She was appointed to the seat in December of 2011 after Suzanne Bonamici (D) resigned to seek election to the US House of Representatives. Steiner Hayward was appointed by a vote of the local county commissioners, narrowly edging out Rep. Chris Harker for the seat.[1]
