Ella Ward is a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 4th Congressional District of Virginia. Ward defeated Joe Elliott Jr. in the Democratic primary on June 12, 2012.[1]

Ward is on the Chesapeake City Council and formerly served on the state school board.[2]
