Ella Ward is a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 4th Congressional District of Virginia.

Ward is on the Chesapeake City Council and formerly served on the state school board.[1]


Campaign themes


According to her website, Ward's campaign platform includes the following issues[2]:

  • Reduced business taxes for companies' first two years in operation
  • Increased expenditures on infrastructure
  • Supporting Social Security and Medicare
