Ellen Koivisto (b. August 11, 1943) was a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly. She represented the 14th District from 1996 to 2010. State term limits disqualify her from re-election in 2010.

Koivisto is managing assistant for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Provost Office since 1995; and was managing assistant for the Harry Reid Center for Environmental Studies, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from 1988 to 1995. She and her husband, Victor, have four children: Beth, Kristina, Victor and Valerie.

On November 4, 2008, Koivisto won re-election to the District 14 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating Dennis Cox.[1]
