Lindgren ran in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 79. She was defeated by Dianne Hesselbein in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012.[1] No Republican filed to run for this seat. Incumbent Democrat Sondy Pope-Roberts is running in District 80. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
