Elwyn Thomas (b. February 18, 1943) was a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 34th district, Blount and Jefferson counties. He was first elected in 1998 and served until August 31, 2012.

Thomas resigned in order to become executive director of the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission.[1]

Thomas currently works as a Real Estate Evaluator with Colonial Bank and SHY, East Central Division.

He is a member of the Alabama Realtors' Association, Blount County Chamber of Commerce, First Baptist Church of Oneonta, Gideons, Saint Clair County Board of Realtors, Farmers' Home Administration Loan Committee of Blount County.[2]
