A Emmet County Separate Levy Implementation measure will be on the August 7, 2012 ballot in Emmet County.

This measure seeks to implement separate levy which would be set at a rate of $7.80 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of four years in order to pay general county, township, and school needs.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall separate tax limitations be established for a period of four (4) years, 2013 through 2016, inclusive, or until altered by the voters of the County, for the County of Emmet, the Townships, and the Intermediate School District within the County, the aggregate of which shall not exceed 7.8 mills, as follows: County of Emmet . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5.6 Townships. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.0 Intermediate School District. . . . . . . . . 0.2 TOTAL 7.8[2]
