Eric Genrich is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 90. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.


Genrich graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor's degree in 2002, and then completed a master's degree from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2010.

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Incumbent Eric Genrich was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Eric Wimberger was unopposed in the Republican primary. Shae Sortwell ran as a Serving Liberty and the People Party candidate. Genrich, Wimberger and Sortwell faced off in the general election.[1][2] Incumbent Genrich defeated both challengers, and was re-elected for another term.[3]
