Erik Severson is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, District 28. He was first elected in 2010.

Severson earned a BS from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and an MD from the Mayo Medical School. Upon graduation, he completed a medical internship at the University of North Dakota and a family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. Prior to his election, he worked as an emergency room physician in Osceola.

Severson won re-election in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 28. Severson ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and defeated Adam Bever (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]
