Erik Severson is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, District 28. He was first elected in 2010.

Severson earned a BS from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and an MD from the Mayo Medical School. Upon graduation, he completed a medical internship at the University of North Dakota and a family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. Prior to his election, he worked as an emergency room physician in Osceola.

Severson was elected to District 28. He defeated Democratic incumbent Ann Hraychuck in the November 2 general election. Severson was unopposed in the primary election. [1]
