Sunshine Review contributors conducted a study of Maryland school district websites from 2010 to 2013.

They researched to determine what type of information is available to the general public on these websites. The following page provides a snapshot of what they learned in the course of this research.

In 2010, all of Maryland's school districts were evaluated by Sunshine Review. Maryland scored very high on six of the checklist items, earning an average grade of 62 percent, or a "C" transparency grade overall.
