There was a Exeter Town Zoning Amendment measure on the March 9 ballot in Rockingham County for voters in the town of Exeter.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1350 Approveda
  • NO 429 [1]

This charter amendment dealt with the rezoning of areas around current wetland areas and also conducting a study into wetland preservation. Current wetland boundaries are based on soil samples from at least twenty years back, the town believes an updated zoning of the area is needed. They could also potentially receive a grant in the amount of $3,000 in order to help with the wetland study, which would help with conservation efforts and the rezoning process.[2]
