Alonso is a candidate for the 2011 Republican Party nomination for District 38 of the New Jersey General Assembly. Alonso faces Wojciech Siemaszkiewicz, Richard Goldberg, Joseph Gant and Scott Verrone in the June 7 primary. Gant and Verrone are bracketed together and Goldberg and Alonso are bracketed together.
