<p align="justify">''Bordering the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, Georgia and Alabama, Florida’s state capital is Tallahassee, although the largest city if Jacksonville and the largest metropolitan area is Miami. Home to the longest coastline in the continental U.S., the state of Florida is consistently plagued by the threat of hurricanes. The basic structure, duties, function, and operations of the government of the state of Florida are defined and established by the Florida Constitution. Additionally, the state government consists of three separate branches: judicial, executive, and legislative. Currently, Florida has two members of the U.S. Senate, a total of 27 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 120 members of the Florida House of Representatives and 40 members of the Florida State Senate. As of September 2013, Florida is one of 24 Republic state government trifectas.''</p></td></tr>

Welcome to Florida on Ballotpedia!

Bordering the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, Georgia and Alabama, Florida’s state capital is Tallahassee, although the largest city if Jacksonville and the largest metropolitan area is Miami. As of September 2013, Florida is one of 24 Republic state government trifectas.
