Seven ballot measures were certified for the November 2, 2010 ballot in the state of Florida. Four of the certified measures were legislatively-referred constitutional amendments, while three were initiated constitutional amendments and one was an advisory question.

• 4 measures were approved, while 3 were defeated

De-certifications:

• Florida Redistricting, Amendment 7, which was scheduled to appear on the general ballot, was removed by court order on July 8.
• Florida Property Tax Limit, Amendment 3, was also scheduled to appear on the general ballot but was removed following a July 23.
• Florida Health Care Freedom, Amendment 9, was removed from the ballot following a court order on July 29.

Note: The 2010 legislative session ended on Friday, April 30, 2010. A special session to vote on a proposed Oil Drilling Ban Amendment started and ended on July 20, 2010 without a vote.

Initiatives

NOTE: The state's petition drive deadline was February 1, 2010. Since Florida has a rolling signature deadline with a four-year window within which signatures may be collected, supporters of the nearly 50 filed initiatives can still continue to collect signatures in the hopes of qualifying for the ballot in a future year. Approximately 28 initiatives did not file signatures in 2010.
