This measure did not or
will not appear on a ballot

A Florida Corporate Welfare Amendment did not make the November 6, 2012 ballot in the state of Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment. If enacted this measure would have prohibited state and local governments from transferring funds raised by taxes to businesses unless it was for the purchase of property, goods or services, and the payment of damages and costs. The measure also prohibited tax reductions for, and selective tax treatment of, businesses. The amendment was introduced by End Corporate Welfare on February 10, 2006.[1]
