The Florida General Election Delay Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment in Florida which was approved on the ballot on November 3, 1992.
This amendment modified Article VI of the Florida Constitution to allow for a delay or suspension of the general election due to a state of emergency.
