Frank Barnitz (b. March 17, 1968) has been a Democratic member of the Missouri Senate since 2005. He represents the 16th district.

Barnitz earned his Bachelors from Southwest Missouri State University in 1990

Barnitz owns Briarwood Cabins, Limited Liability Company. Barnitz was a Farm Manager for Barnitz Farm, Incorporated. He was also a Farm Manager for Running K Ranch in 1990. Barnitz and his wife, Lisa, have three children.

Barnitz served in the Missouri State House of Representatives from 2000 to 2005. He has also been a Board Member for the Dent-Phelps R-3 School since 1997. He then won a special election to the Missouri State Senate in 2005. He has served in that position since, representing the 16th district.
