Fred Dyson (b. January 16, 1939) is a Republican member of the Alaska State Senate, representing District F since 2003.

Dyson earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in mechanical engineering.

Prior to serving in the senate, Dyson was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 1997-2002.

Dyson won re-election in the 2012 election for Alaska State Senate District 6 (F). He ran unopposed in the August 28, 2012 Republican primary and defeated Martin J. Lindeke (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
