Fred Emerich is a Republican member of District 5 of the Wyoming State Senate. Emerich first won election in 2010. A retired veterinarian, Emerich served as a Laramie County Commissioner in the 1990s before assuming office.

He holds a BS in Microbiology from the University of Wyoming and a DMV in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Colorado.
