School proposes $198 million dollar bond
Fremont Union High is proposing a $198 million dollar bond on the June 3rd election ballot. The money would go towards renovating the school. The bond was passed unanimously by the school board
The district's board of trustees on Feb. 26 unanimously passed a resolution to place the bond on the June 3 ballot. The bond was passed unanimously by the school board. The bond will be sold in multiple issues over an approximate eight-year period, will be used to build, renovate and modernize such school facilities as kitchens, classrooms and athletic facilities, according to Glenn Evans, strategic business and community manager.[1],[2]
