Three Fruitport Township Levy Measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the township of Fruitport, which is in Muskegon County.

Two of the three measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current fire and police services levy which is set at a rate of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for fire and police protection services in the township.

  • NO 1,750 (35.9%)

The second measure sought to renew the current police services levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for police operational services in the township.

  • YES 3,068 (62.9%)Approveda
  • NO 1,805 (37.1%)

The third measure sought to increase the current fire services levy by a rate of $.70 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for fire operational services in the township.[1]
