Fruitport Township Levy Measures, 3 (November 2010)

Three Fruitport Township Levy Measures will be on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the township of Fruitport, which is in Muskegon County.

The first measure seeks to renew the current fire and police services levy which is set at a rate of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for fire and police protection services in the township.

The second measure seeks to renew the current police services levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for police operational services in the township.

The third measure seeks to increase the current fire services levy by a rate of $.70 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for fire operational services in the township.[1]
