- NO 12,342 (39.2%)
The Lansing school district had been accused of using school funds to promote this measure, something which is illegal under state laws. The school district distributed fliers which called to promote the school's health and to help fund the future, but others had noted that even though this did not outright say to vote Yes, it was as close as they could get without going over the line. School officials noted that they were only trying to promote residents to get out to vote, not to persuade which way they should vote.
