Gail Schwartz has been a Democratic member of the Colorado State Senate since 2007. She represents the 5th district.

Schwartz is seeking re-election to the 5th District seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. Robert E. Rankin and Wayne Wolf ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The primary occurred on August 10, and the general election took place on November 2, 2010.


On November 7, 2006, Schwartz was elected to the 5th District Seat in the Colorado State Senate, defeating opponent Lewis H. Entz (R).[1]
