Gary Bies (b. October 26, 1946) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 1. He was first elected to the chamber in 2000.

Bies is a Republican candidate for Wisconsin Secretary of State in the 2014 elections.[1]

Biography

Prior to his election to the Assembly, Bies worked as Project Director for the Door/Kewaunee Drug Task Force from 1990-2000, and was Chief Deputy/Deputy Sheriff for the Door County Sheriff's Department.[2]
