Gary Forby is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. Forby has served in the Illinois Senate since 2003 when first appointed to the position by former Governor Rod Blagojevich. Forby also served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2001 to 2003.

Forby graduated with his High School diploma and also works as a Excavating Contractor and Farmer in addition to being a Senator.
