Gary King was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Louisiana.

King ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Louisiana's 1st District. King was defeated in the November 6 blanket primary.[1] Louisiana did not hold a primary before the November 6 general election. If candidates do not receive a majority of the vote on that date, they go to a runoff, to be held on December 8.
