Gary Worthan (b. 1954) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 52nd District since winning a special election in December 2006.

Worthan works as a farmer. He is a member of the Buena Vista County 4-H Committee, Buena Vista Cattleman's Association Board, Buena Vista County Extension Council, and the Farm Bureau.[1]

Worthan won re-election to the 52nd District seat against Danuta Hutchins (D). Worthan had no opposition in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
